Homemade Oh Henry! bar in a small sarbloh baata


Ingredients for chocolate

  • one and a half cup organic virgin coconut oil

equal parts of the next two ingredients to get a nice thick goopy consistency

  • vegan icing sugar
  • cocoa powder or raw carob powder
  • one vanilla bean

Ingredients for caramel

  • 1 cup fair trade brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup honey or raw agave nectar
  • 1/2 a vanilla bean

Other Ingredients

1 cup washed raw peanuts sprinkled with salt and roasted.


Chocolate - Heat oil and add cocoa/icing sugar and vanilla bean until desired thick consistency is reached
Pour a bit more than half into a pan/thaal and freeze for 5 minutes. Save the rest.

Caramel - mix all ingredients and heat until combined and sugar dissolves.
Add more brown sugar if the butter does not incorporate into a nice emulsified mixture. Place in fridge to cool. When cooled should be soft and stretchy.

Wash raw peanuts, sprinkle with salt and roast at 350 degrees F just until light brown

Put it together by pulling out freezer chocolate, spread caramel evenly on top, sprinkle nuts and pour over remainder of chocolate.
Freeze for 25-30minutes.
Thaw for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
