Vegan Mushroom Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Pound Mushrooms
  • 1/4 Cup Vegan Margarine
  • 1/2 Cup Nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1/4 Cup white flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/8 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 1 teaspoon Bouquet browning sauce
  • 2 1/4 Cup Water

Directions

  • Saute Mushrooms in margarine until browned and limp
  • mix yeast, flour, salt and onion powder
  • blend water and sauce
  • wisk water/sauce into dry ingredients until smooth
  • heat on low until thick, stirring constantly
  • cook one more minute
  • add mushrooms to the mix and stir to blend
  • Add extra salt or onion powder id desired
  • Makes about three cups
